Kieninger movements offer Kieniramic® graham armatures and our patented automatic escapement, the small table clocks a high-quality escapement with a Swiss escapement. The correct seconds display of many of our clocks is made possible by another Kieninger patent.

Numerous stainless steel parts are used in Kieninger movements. All pinions are manufactured using a special roller burnishing process developed by Kieninger. Most cable-wound movements are equipped with a power reserve that ensures that the movement continues to run during the winding process. All cable-wound movements with a 4/4 striking mechanism have separate striking stops for quarter and hour strikes. The H, K, M and N series cable movements are equipped with Maltese stops to limit the winding and unwinding ranges of the weights. All spring-wound movements offer an exclusive safety winding stop.

Special equipment is available for some Floor clocks , such as a KSU change-over mechanism with patented automatic melody change or our KSU-16 bar change-over mechanism, another pioneering Kieninger development, which plays the melodies "Westminster Ave Maria- Götterfunke" on the hour as desired.
